Dr. Chase Stahl, DVM
Vet-Partner
- Grew up on a farm near Clarion, Iowa
- Earned degrees in Biochemistry and Environmental Science from Drake University
- Graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012
- Gained experience as a Staff Veterinarian with Iowa Select Farms
- Joined Fairmont Veterinary Clinic in 2013
- Married to Summer; proud dad to son Stetson and Cael
- Loves spending time outdoors – especially hunting, gardening, and working on the acreage with his family and two Yellow Labs
Dr. Andy Kryzer, DVM
Vet-Partner
- Grew up on a crop and beef farm in southeast Minnesota
- Completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, where he was a member of the Livestock Judging Team and gained hands-on necropsy experience at the Veterinary Diagnostic Lab
- Graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015
- Joined Fairmont Veterinary Clinic after graduation
- Enjoys consulting on pig flow and marketing strategies. Passionate about training Spanish-speaking employees and helping them understand the “why” behind the “what.”
- Married to Carolyn; proud dad to two daughters, Addie and Lainey
- Loves outdoor activities with his family – especially swimming, biking, running, and working on their family farm
Dr. Brian Roggow, DVM
Managing Vet-Partner
- Born and raised in Jackson, Minnesota on a diverse farm with corn, soybeans, hogs, and sheep
- Completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota–Morris
- Earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 1990
- Joined Fairmont Veterinary Clinic after graduation
- Completed the Executive Veterinary Program at the University of Illinois in 2000
- Married to Deb; proud parent of three and grandparent to two
- Enjoys pickleball, golf, and supporting youth activities in the Fairmont area
Dr. Mark Wagner, DVM
Vet-Partner
- Grew up near Wessington Springs, South Dakota on a diversified livestock farm
- Earned his Animal Science degree from South Dakota State University
- Received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 1997
- Joined Fairmont Veterinary Clinic after graduation
- Specializes in disease management and therapies, with a focus on PRRS immunity and research
- Lives on an acreage with his wife, Alison, and their two children, Reed and Kate
- Remains active in livestock production through his family’s cattle ranch in South Dakota
Dr. Jeff Kurt, DVM
Vet-Partner
- Grew up near Cascade, Iowa on a diversified farm with beef, swine, corn, and soybeans
- Graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002
- Joined Fairmont Veterinary Clinic after graduation
- Recipient of the Swine Proficiency Award
- Focuses on swine health and production, with special interests in ventilation and nutrition
- Married to Ann; proud dad to Tyler, Avery, and Alayna
- Enjoys spending time with family, sports, hunting, and fishing
Dr. Steve Stone, DVM
Vet-Partner
- Grew up near Wagner, South Dakota on a beef, swine, and grain farm
- Served in the U.S. Army for 2 years, followed by 6 years in the National Guard/Army Reserve
- Earned his undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University
- Received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 1997
- Practiced mixed animal medicine in Slayton, MN, becoming a partner there before joining Fairmont Veterinary Clinic in 2007. He became a partner at Fairmont Veterinary Clinic in 2010, focused on swine and beef feedlot medicine.
- Married to Christy; proud father of Isaac and Brooklyn
- Enjoys sports, coaching youth baseball and softball, gardening, growing pumpkins, traveling, and spending time on the family farm in South Dakota
Dr. Megan Nickel, DVM, MS
Vet-Associate
- Born and raised on a dairy farm in Theresa, Wisconsin
- Earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from UW–River Falls
- Graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019
- Completed a Master of Science degree as a post-doctoral research associate with the Swine Medicine Education Center at ISU in 2021
- Served as the lead sow veterinarian for a 72,000-sow system in southeastern Minnesota for 2.5 years prior to joining Fairmont Veterinary Clinic in 2024
- Married to Nathan; have an English Bulldog named Arnold
- Enjoy kayaking, hiking in state and national parks, and spending time with their families in Wisconsin
Dr. Leyton Becker, DVM
Vet-Associate
- Grew up in Northrop, Minnesota on a corn, soybean, and farrow-to-finish operation
- Earned his undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota
- Studied abroad in 2019, working on pig farms in Germany and Denmark
- Married his wife, Montana during his second year of veterinary school
- Graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024
- Joined Fairmont Veterinary Clinic after graduation
- Enjoys long-distance running, serving as a youth leader in his church, and working with his in-laws on their Hereford seedstock operation
